. President Rolando delivered an exceptional, in-depth look at the problems both the NALC and USPS are facing, and the NALC’s plans for the future..He also fielded questions from the delegation ...DFO Meaghan Slater gave us the Legislative/ Political overview. As a special treat, we had a video taped message from Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, thanking us for our extraordinary support in her campaigns..(especially CDL Rabbit Riley)..After a motion from the floor, the delegates unanimously endorsed the Senator in next year’s election.
On day two, after both Representatives thanked the NALC for the impact our Volunteers and CDLs made in their respective races, President Rolando presided over the Installation of Officers, and the Convention adjourned..
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank all NYSALC Officers and Executive Board members, for their help in insuring our Convention’s success…Special accolades to Host Branch 358, President William B.Cook, and his dedicated staff , for their professionalism and commitment to our organization..
